Can you feel Spring in the air? Can you see Daffodils and Blossom trees? It is almost time for the Bank Holiday and for us, April, Easter and Chocolate go hand in hand. We are so EGG-cited about it (sorry but we are) so here’s our April hot list:

THE BEST EGGS – If Zouk could have a naughty bite of any egg, it would be the Classic Ostrich Easter egg from Hotel Chocolat. As always Hotel Chocolat, British chocolatier and Cocoa grower have released a magical Easter egg that we can’t stop thinking about, the Classic Ostrich Easter egg is half 40% milk chocolate, half 50% milk and is an extra-large egg.  It includes milk, dark, white and caramel recipes and is over a kilo of chocolate! Sounds delicious. We need to eat you! However the Ostrich easter egg is a hefty £75! Worth it?

Not a fan of chocolate? Now for the country’s strangest Easter egg.  The ‘Cheester Egg’. The Cheester Eggs are 260g of solid, hand-made, vegetarian cheese and cost £14.95. A cheese lover’s dream!

YUMMY  DESSERTS – Back to Chocolate..We have the best Chocolate desserts at Zouk, the best we tell you!  From perfect Desi Doughnuts, (Dipping doughnuts sprinkled with cinnamon and accompanied by delightful chocolate to Chocolate Fondant – hmmmm) plus a Dreamy Chocolate Fondant served hot with melting oozing chocolate and tasty salted caramel and a sweet cardamom centre. You can even treat yourself to a chocolate milkshake, coco iced latte or a delicious hot chocolate. Treat yourself, it’s Easter!

COLOURFUL COCKTAILS – Celebrate Easter at Zouk with a few tasty cocktails. Come down and try Zouk breeze. Fruity and colorful,  it’s the perfect cocktail for Easter. Zouk breeze is a combination of Sloe Gin, Vodka and Passionfruit puree topped with Lime juice and a shot of genadine. Delicious – especially when enjoyed Al Fresco on Zouk’s outdoor terrace in Manchester. What are you waiting for?

APRIL FOOLS? Monday.. Took her for a drink on Tuesday, we were making love by Wednesday, And on Thursday & Friday & Saturday we chilled on Sunday (Sundays are perfect for chilling and ordering food from Zouk on the Deliveroo app, it does come in handy!) Yes you guessed it, Craig David will be visiting Manchester in April. Yes, the Craig David! Craig will be bringing the party to Manchester on April 1st 2017 in Manchester’s iconic arena. Why not visit Zouk after the show and ‘fill me in’ on how amazing the concert was. However you’ll regret ‘walking away’ without trying one of our fantastic curries and cocktails and we’re pretty sure you’ll be back in about ‘7 days’ to eat some more! Who doesn’t love Craig David, Buy tickets here

ONE FOR THE PLANNER – Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s stone live in concert in Manchester on May 17th 2017, Harry Potter in high-definition on a giant screen and a full live orchestra, dreamy.
