Not My Year Off said on Zouk’s Cookery Class in Manchester: “The whole session takes place within their restaurant kitchens so you get to see how the place really runs behind the scenes as well as getting your own cookery lessons. Ali was our chef for the day and he had a very passionate love of food and engaging way to cooking which made it all a lot of fun.” Read the full review here.
Pretty Green Tea said on Zouk’s Cookery Class in Manchester: “One of my favourite things about Zouk (aside from the food) is the open kitchen. You can see your food being made which I personally find fascinating and it makes a great talking point. I love seeing the cooking process and of course, the wonderful aroma of the food floats across the restaurant.” Read the full review here.
Manchester Confidential – “At Zouk’s Barbecue Masterclass, you make so many different dishes, you invite a friend to the restaurant for dinner where you can both share your handiwork. It’s the perfect chance to bask in adulation – the paneer tikka was very well-receieved but my seekh kebabs definitely need practice.” Read the full review here.
EatnNorth on our Bradford restaurant: “Another reason is the belting bread. We ordered a couple of chappatis (stretchy, pliable) and a roti (charred, blistered), with one guy in the semi-open kitchen making them all to order: 10 seconds on the domed tava, 5 seconds on the flame beneath. Given the queues gathering as we left it looked like he was in for a busy shift, which was when I noticed he was on chips-duty as well, making him pretty much my dream man.” Read the full review here.
