Mumbai is a culinary hotspot known for its distinctive street foods. The street food of Mumbai is one of the defining characteristics of the city, famous the world over for its unique flavour and exciting dishes.

To celebrate this rich and diverse city, we are inviting you to attend our Manchester does Mumbai event. In associate with I Love Manchester, we bring Mumbai to Manchester for one night only with a tantalising 5-course street food menu…

For just £30 with two drinks included, you will enjoy :

Sev Puri – crisp puris with spiced potatoes, tamarind chutney, yoghurt and coriander and mint chutney

Pav Bhaji, Chicken Reshmi tikka, and batata vada – a platter of street food inspired delights reminiscent of the roadside snacks sold throughout Mumbai

Second Course
The Bombay sandwich – this sandwich is legendary in Mumbai where it is an iconic street food. The chutney sandwich is served with heaps of cheese, tomato and tasty chutneys.

Main Course
Kolhapuri Gosht – a hot lamb curry with red chilli and star anise

Malvani Chicken curry – a deliciously hot chicken curry with coconut, tamarind and Kashmiri chillies

Maharashtrian Salmon Kaalvan – kaalvan means sauce and this curry is prepared with salmon fillet steaks cooked in a spiced coconut sauce

Bombay potatoes – a classic dish with mustard and chilli
Assorted freshly baked breads from the tandoor and jeera rice

In addition to the delicious culinary treats, you’ll also enjoy a memorable evening hosted by Zouk owner and founder Tayub Amjad, who will greet all guests and talk through the food throughout the evening.
