Beginning with some comforting starters to revive you and your tastebuds, this class won’t disappoint. Dall Soup and Seekh Kebab are both tasty but simple dishes. Learn how to whip them up quickly when time and inspiration are in short supply. For days when you need something more substantial, the Chicken Karahi and Laal Maas recipes offer two warming winter curries that really hit the spot.
What Will You Learn?
This class is all about food with heart. We’ve chosen dishes to warm and comfort your body, mind and soul. There is nothing quite like a well-cooked karahi to lift the spirits on a gloomy day. Alternatively, a slow cooked Laal Maas is the ultimate weekend comfort dish. On days where you need to whip up something warming at speed the Dall Soup is quick and easy. Learn how to prepare this in batches and freeze it so you can save time on busy weekdays. Our Seekh Kebabs need only a few ingredients and whilst they are great for summer bbq’s we also love them in the winter where they make a great weekday tea. Try them with rice, in a wrap or with potato wedges for a satisfying meal.
This class is as hands on as possible so you will have your own cooking station and get to prepare each dish. Please note that our chefs will cook the naan breads due to the training needed to use the tandoor oven. Instructions on how to prepare breads at home will be provided.

Warm and spicy lentil soup cooked with curry leaves, root coriander and black pepper
Juicy minced lamb kebabs with fresh ginger, spices & chilli. Learn how to make these delicious hand-formed kebabs at home so you can cook them for bbq’s or in the kitchen under a grill
This dish hails from Northwest Pakistan where it is cooked in a Karahi pan (similar to a wok) over hot flames. Tender pieces of chicken are cooked with tomatoes, crushed peppercorns, cumin seeds, ginger, garlic & coriander. It’s a spicy, satisfying and comforting. A curry that leaves everyone wanting a second helping.
The best curry for a really cold day! This lamb dish will melt in the mouth but boy does it have a kick! We like to prepare this dish with meat on the bone as it adds extra flavour to each delicious bite. A Rajasthani comfort food classic cooked with dried Kashmiri chillies to add extra depth.

At the end of the cooking the food will be served as a banquet meaning you can relax with a drink and dig into the delicious dishes you created.
After the class you will leave with a certificate, an apron and your easy-to-follow recipe pack so you can recreate all the dishes at home.
