About Zouk’s Himalayan Pink Salt

Formed from ancient water beds millions of years ago, Himalayan pink salt is mined from the Punjab region of Pakistan, near the Himalayan foothills.

All mining of Himalayan pink salt is done by hand using traditional, established methods.

Chemically similar to table salt, it contains up to 98 percent sodium chloride, as well as trace minerals, such as potassium, magnesium, and calcium which give the salt its light pink tint.
