Try a New Zouk Cooking Class This Autumn

Explore a New Zouk Cooking Class and take a culinary journey through the flavours of India and Pakistan.

This autumn, we’re adding three brand-new experiences to the Zouk Cookery School calendar, taking inspiration from some of the great food cities of India and Pakistan.

Our new Mumbai Masterclass, Flavours of Old Delhi and Lahore to Lucknow classes will take you beyond the familiar curry-house favourites to explore the dishes, ingredients and cooking styles that give each city its own distinctive food culture.

As with all our Zouk cooking classes, these sessions are designed to be hands-on. You’ll cook alongside our chefs at your own station, learning recipes step by step before sitting down together to enjoy everything you’ve made as a banquet.

Mumbai Masterclass - Saturday 10th October

Mumbai is a city of colour, energy and incredible food. Its cuisine has been shaped by coastal cooking, bustling street-food stalls and communities from all over India, resulting in flavours that are bold, varied and completely irresistible.

Our new Mumbai Masterclass brings some of those flavours into the Zouk kitchen.

You’ll get hands-on preparing dishes including crispy Chicken Koliwada and Bombay-style starters before learning how to build rich, aromatic curries such as Chicken Kolhapuri.

Along the way, our chefs will show you how to create marinades, balance chilli and spice and build layers of flavour using fresh aromatics and toasted spices.

Flavours of Old Delhi - Saturday 28th November

Our next new class travels to one of India’s most historic food destinations.

The bustling lanes and markets of Old Delhi are renowned for aromatic curries, smoky kebabs and dishes influenced by centuries of Mughal cooking. It is a style of food packed with warming spices, richly flavoured marinades and slow-cooked sauces.

In Flavours of Old Delhi, you’ll learn how to prepare dishes including Sikandari Chicken Tikka, Lamb Boti Kebab and traditional curries inspired by this fascinating part of the city.

It’s a class for anyone who wants to understand how marinades and masalas are built from scratch and discover some new dishes beyond the Indian restaurant classics they already know.

Lahore to Lucknow - Saturday 12th December

For our final new masterclass of 2026, we’re bringing together two very different culinary traditions.

Lahore is famous for bold spices, vibrant street food and generously flavoured grilled meats. Lucknow, meanwhile, is renowned for the more delicate style. This aromatic Awadhi cooking is associated with its historic royal kitchens.

Our Lahore to Lucknow class explores both.

You’ll prepare dishes including crispy Lahori Fish Fry, spiced kebabs and aromatic curries. Throughout the class, our chefs will help you discover the techniques and flavours of both cities.

And because this class falls just before Christmas, we’re adding something special.

Our chefs will teach you how to prepare a raan-inspired roast chicken, using yoghurt, ginger, garlic and warming spices to create an impressive centrepiece, along with a rich, spicy Indian gravy.

It’s our Zouk take on the Christmas roast - and a recipe you can take home and make for family and friends over the festive season.

Cook, Eat and Recreate It at Home

All three classes are designed to give you techniques you can actually use in your own kitchen.

You’ll cook alongside our chefs, enjoy the finished dishes as a banquet and leave with an easy-to-follow recipe pack so you can recreate your favourites at home.

Places on our new Zouk cooking classes are limited, so book your place and join us for a culinary journey from Mumbai and Old Delhi to Lahore and Lucknow.
