How we accommodate halal dining at Zouk

We are committed to ensuring our guests have the best possible halal dining experience at Zouk through various means. Serving only halal meat, we ensure that our suppliers are regularly audited and that their halal certification is maintained. We sometimes get asked if we are halal certified. As we are a restaurant and play no part in the slaughter or butchery process, we do not feel this is necessary. Our meat suppliers all have halal certification and we feel that this is sufficient for us and our customers.

Although our bar does serve alcohol, we make every provision to accommodate halal diners. This includes having separate glasses that are only used for water, never for cocktails or alcohol, to avoid any contamination. Despite this, all of our other glasses are fully sterilised between use to ensure no traces of alcohol remain present. We have also ensured that our bar area is located as far away as logistically possible from the kitchen to create a more comfortable dining experience at our halal restaurant.
