In recent years the popularity of BBQ’s and marquee style weddings has grown, despite our unreliable weather, so we have created a special Live BBQ menu for either the day or evening buffet meaning. This set up works best if it is a marquee or outdoor wedding you have in mind. Let Zouk chef’s make it extra special with the tempting aromas from our sizzling woks and smoking hot charcoal grill. Serving up traditional curries, freshly baked naans and bbq’d meats including chicken tikka, lamb seekh kebabs and tikka prawns our live BBQ offers something extra special for your big day. As Zouk has catered at so many outdoor events we have our own pop up marquees meaning we can cater for your event come rain or shine. As with all our catering options you can arrange a menu tasting at our Manchester restaurant, helping you to choose your favourite dishes for your Live BBQ.

Whether it’s a little taster to set the scene for the day ahead or a welcome for your evening guests our range of celebratory canapés and tapas can be served at a time of your choice. Popular options are during the drinks reception or while the bridal party is having their photos taken. We also cater for awards ceremonies, networking events and events where a cocktail reception is part of the main event. Zouk has worked with a wide range of venues in the Northeast and Northwest of England from hotels and stately homes to unique venues such monasteries or the quintessential Victoria Baths. If you are struggling to find the perfect venue for your wedding or event, we’d be happy to help you in your search by listening to your requirements and putting forward some suggestions and introductory information on the best venues we’ve worked with. Alternatively we have a range of hireable spaces at our restaurant which are suitable for smaller events.

If you are opting for some traditional Indian or Pakistani food, the chances are you may like some authentic entertainment too. Zouk works with a variety of entertainers that can bring energy and fun to your event, from Bollywood dancers to fire eaters and sitar players, just let us know what you think your guests will enjoy and we’ll show you some fantastic entertainment options.

Believe it or not we’ve worked in spaces where all that was supplied was an empty field with one water pipe and one electric hook up. We literally had to take everything with us from kitchens and cooking equipment to marquees, tables, chairs, lights, dance floors and music systems. It may sound like a lot to think about but if you have found the perfect scenic setting for your wedding and event it’s good to know that the rest can be shipped in for the occasion. For a function of this style it’s really important that we understand your vision so we can create the event of your dreams. As part of our catering service your catering quote will include an experienced Zouk event & catering manager and all the chefs and kitchen personnel required for providing your chosen menu – excluding Live BBQ which has a separate fee for the team. If you are looking for full table service and your venue does not provide service staff, then we can provide a quote for this from one of our experienced suppliers. Your quote will be calculated based on the number of guests, the style of service and the hours of your event. If you have any questions or concerns we are happy to talk through what works best in our experience and help you make the right choice for your special occasion.

Often your venue will offer crockery as part of your hire fee, but if they don’t Zouk can easily source the crockery you need for your party. We let you choose the styles you like from one of our trusted suppliers and arrange for delivery and collection before and after your event, taking away all the stress and worry and ensuring everything needed is ready on your big day.
