Ramadan Iftar Preview at Zouk Manchester
On Thursday 12th February, we were delighted to host our Ramadan Iftar Preview - a special evening showcasing our upcoming Ramadan Iftar Buffet. the event took place at Zouk Tea Bar & Grill, just off Oxford Road, and welcomed local media, halal bloggers, and content creators to experience what guests can expect during the holy month.
Ramadan is always a meaningful and busy time for us at Zouk, and this preview event gave invited guests the opportunity to sample a selection of dishes ahead of the official launch of the buffet on Wednesday 18th February, when it will be served daily at sunset throughout Ramadan. To view our weekly Ramadan menus please take a look at our dedicated Ramadan page.
Owner, Tayub Amjad, commented 'Thank you to everybody who took time to join us for our Ramadan Iftar Preview. This is a special time of year and we know families are busy with preparations. We look forward to welcoming all our customers to enjoy a special Iftar this Ramadan at Zouk.'
A Showcase of the Ramadan Menu
One of the things that makes our Ramadan buffet special each year is variety. The menu changes weekly across the month, giving guests the chance to return and enjoy different dishes each time they visit.
For the preview evening, our chefs carefully selected a range of dishes from across the four weekly menus to showcase the breadth of flavours and options that will be available. From traditional favourites to Zouk classics, the event highlighted the generous and diverse offering that has made our Ramadan buffet so popular with the community.
Guests began the evening in the traditional way, breaking fast with dates and a refreshing mango lassi, followed by a comforting bowl of soup before exploring the buffet selection.
The full weekly menus are available on our website via the dedicated Ramadan page and bookings are open now.

Supporting the Community During Ramadan
Giving back is an important part of Ramadan, and this year we are continuing our commitment to supporting the local community alongside serving Iftar to our guests.
Throughout the holy month, we will be donating meals every Thursday to Manchester-based charity Two Brews, who provide food and support to people experiencing homelessness across the city. In addition, we will be providing Iftar meal donations to local hospitals and community organisations, helping ensure those who may be away from home or in need can still break their fast with a warm meal.
For us, Ramadan is not only about food, but about generosity, compassion, and community spirit. Supporting those in need during this special time remains at the heart of what we do each year.
Bringing the Community Together
Events like this preview are an important part of what Ramadan represents for us — community, generosity, and togetherness. It was wonderful to see so many familiar faces from the local food scene sharing the experience, and we are incredibly grateful for the support from media and creators who help spread the word each year.
We look forward to welcoming guests throughout Ramadan to share Iftar with loved ones and enjoy the special atmosphere that the month brings to Zouk.
