RMCH Charity Abseil: Zouk’s Mission Impossible

Scroll Down

The RMCH Charity Abseil took place on Sunday 25th September and the Zouk team raised nearly £1000. The abseil is not a challenge for the fainthearted! Or for anybody afraid of heights! Taking place at the 19 storey Hyatt Regent Hotel, the volunteers travel from the roof right down to the ground.

This breathtaking feat conjures up images of Tom Cruise in Mission Impossible and one quick look at the size of the building clearly shows you why! The Hyatt Regent is a key feature of Manchester’s skyline. Zouk owners Tayub and Mudassar had never participated in this challenge before. However, this year, along with Zouk Manager Sylvester and brother-in-law Perri Awan they put their fears aside and went for it. This annual event takes place every year and RMCH is always looking for people to take part.

RMCH & The Event

The Royal Manchester Children’s Hospital Charity includes a family of hospitals that deliver world-class medical care to our wonderful community. This year Zouk has committed to working to fundraise for the charity by supporting their calendar of fund-raising events and hosting fundraising events of our own to raise even more cash.

The abseil is the first of many events we hope to support, and you can read all about it on the charity’s website. Click here for more info on the RMCH Charity Abseil and the amazing work this charity does.

RMCH Charity Dinner To Be Announced

Zouk is also hosting a special dinner for RMCH Charity in May 2023. The dinner will include food and drink plus a variety of traditional Indian entertainment. There will be dancers and live music and 100% of the ticket price will be donated to the charity.
