On Your Bike Bez
This week we had Bez from the Happy Mondays deliver some of our very first tiffins around the city centre. Having been a huge fan of Zouk for years and being a local music legend, he was the perfect person to jump on the trike for our special deliveries.
What is a Tiffin?
A fundamental part of Mumbai’s culture, tiffins have been a part of everyday life there since the 1890s, with the city’s dabbawallas (box collectors) picking them up from their customer’s residence and delivering them to their workplace on a daily basis. A tiffin (also known as a lunch box) features three to four stacked stainless-steel compartments and a clip to avoid any spills, enabling it to accommodate a number of different dishes.
Order Now
Ordering your tiffins couldn't be easier. Just check out our Tiffin Ordering page.
Remember it's a minimum order of 4 per location so it's great for team meetings or catch-ups.
Things to Remember
We have a limited number of tiffins available each day at the moment. Only 50 per day and once they are gone they are gone. You can order up to 12 weeks in advance so don't wait if you want one book it now.
The latest you can book is 5pm the day before your desired delivery. We deliver tiffins Monday to Friday from 12 noon to 5pm. Just go onto your website and book your preferred slot.
Tiffins can be collected the same day at the end of the day or the following morning. Our friendly delivery drivers will arrange a convenient time for collection when they deliver your order - usually between 4pm and 6pm.
Don't open your tiffin near a laptop. It's made of steel and is pretty strong. Take time to enjoy your tiffin away from your desk and savour every bite!
