Zouk Signature Dishes March

This Zouk Signature Dishes March class features some of the restaurants most popular a la carte dishes. We often get asked by customers how to prepare each of the dishes and although each dish is quite different, they do offer a unique menu with each dish complimenting the other. The class includes three starters, one classic curry and an authentic biryani.

What Will You Learn?

This class begins with a traditional Samosa Chaat. This street food snack is prepared with fresh pomegranate, coriander and tamarind chutney. The other starters are char-grilled but can be cooked on a BBQ or under an oven grill at home. Our chefs will share tips and tricks for creating perfect hand-formed Seekh Kebabs at home and our Punjabi Lollipops make a totally more-ish starter. The main courses are the classic Deli Butter Chicken which is almost as popular as Chicken Tikka Masala at Zouk and an authentic Lamb Biryani. This class is as hands on as possible so you will have your own cooking station and get to prepare each dish. Please note that our chefs will cook the naan breads due to the training needed to use the tandoor oven. Instructions on how to prepare breads at home will be provided.

Starters

Samosa Chaat
Traditional Pakistani chaat with a delicious with a delicious fresh samosa, tamarind sauce and raita

Seekh Kebabs
Juicy minced lamb kebabs with fresh ginger, spices & chilli. Learn how to make these delicious hand-formed kebabs at home so you can cook them for bbq’s or in the kitchen under a grill

Punjabi Lollipops
Char-grilled chicken lollipops in a spicy Punjabi style marinade with pomegranate and spices

 

Main Courses

Butter Chicken
Barbecued chicken breast cooked in a buttery sauce with gentle spice & cashew nuts

Lamb Biryani
We cook our special biryanis using traditional methods form the Provence of Sindh. Basmati rice is cooked with potatoes, tender chicken, spices and garam masala

 

Side Dishes
Pilau rice & Naan bread

 

After the Class

At the end of the cooking the food will be served as a banquet meaning you can relax with a drink and dig into the delicious dishes you created.

Leave the class complete with a certificate, an apron and your easy-to-follow recipe pack so you can recreate all the dishes at home. Don’t forget to share your recipe pics so we can see how you’re getting on at home.
