If you’re looking for an unforgettable night out in the city, the Opera House Manchester should be at the top of your list.

Located on Quay Street, this historic theatre has been a cornerstone of Manchester’s cultural scene since it first opened its doors in 1912.

Over the decades, it has hosted everything from grand operas and ballets to West End musicals, comedy shows, and live concerts, making it a true icon of entertainment in the North.

The theatre’s central location near Deansgate means you’re just steps away from some of Manchester’s best restaurants, cafés, and bars — perfect for a pre-show meal or post-show hangout.

It’s also easily accessible by bus, tram, or train, making it convenient for students and visitors alike.

There are many places to eat near the Opera House but in our humble opinion, Zouk is one of the best! Before you check out our menus here is a little run down at what's coming up at these fabulous theatres!
