There is no place more beautiful in Manchester to enjoy a spot of alfresco dining than the Zouk outdoor terrace. We are proud of this space, which is constantly updated throughout the year to reflect the season - there is always something new to discover on the terrace. During the summer months, we adorn the terrace with summery peach tones. From intense pink and orange blossoms to fresh green leaves this stunning collection has a flower for every mood. The palette for summer reminds us that the holiday season is approaching, and fun is just around the corner - this will constantly evolve as the seasons change.

Lighting

When we hang lights up north, we don’t do it by halves! We like to give summer evenings a warm hue and keep the space feeling magical when the sun goes down. The beautiful installation of waterfall lights has created a glowing effect on the terrace making it feel cosy and intimate.

Flower Wall

Our signature flower wall is the centrepiece of the terrace. It creates a warm and welcoming atmosphere and is a fabulous selfie spot too. Every month we run a photo competition on our social media - be sure to tag us in your photos with #youhadmeatzouk or #zoukteabar for your chance to win. Lucky winners get to enjoy a meal for two on the house with drinks when they next visit.

Even during the traditional summer months in a city like Manchester, you just know that rain is never too far away. This is why our outdoor dining space features state-of-the-art technology to ensure guests can relax peacefully - no matter the weather. Our terrace features an electric roof which will be fully opened during sunny spells, but can also be quickly closed if required. We also have numerous heaters and warming blankets to keep the space cosy during the cooler months. It truly is a one-of-a-kind outdoor dining experience which guests in Manchester can enjoy all year round.

When it comes to dining alfresco, there are many fantastic options to try at Zouk. With the same menus being served for both our indoor and outdoor areas, there is no end of choice when it comes to choosing your meal. As we have so many tasty dishes on our menu, it can be hard to know what to pick. We have picked out a few of our favourite dishes that are perfect for enjoying on a warm summer evening, whilst enjoying our outdoor terrace.

1. Rib-Eye Aged Marble Steak - it goes without saying, but you can’t beat a good steak, especially when dining alfresco. Cooked to your preference, our Rib-Eye Aged Marble Steak is super tender, flavoursome and popular all year round. Served with chips, vegetables and peppercorn sauce.
2. BBQ Sharing Platter - if you are after a mouthwatering healthy Indian dish, then you should try our BBQ Sharing Platter. A decadent mixed platter of chicken tikka, seekh kebab, lamb chops and tandoori prawns. Served with vegetable rice, mango salad, kachumber, hummus, naan and tandoori roti.
3. Zouk Gourmet Burger - there is nothing quite like a Zouk Gourmet Burger to end the day the best way. Served with salad, relish and chips, you can choose from either beef or chicken as the centrepiece. If that isn’t enough, you can add cheese, garlic mayo, Zouk chilli sauce or Zouk spicy BBQ sauce to create your perfect burger.
4. Laal Maas - if you like a spicier meal then you have to try our Laal Maas. As one of the hotter dishes on our menu, this classic lamb Rajasthani curry is cooked with red Kashmiri chillies.
5. Vegetable Tikka - one of our most popular vegan dishes that can be served as a starter or main. Delicious chargrilled mixed vegetables served with rice and our special succulent sauce.

As a halal restaurant, all of the meat served as part of our restaurant and catering menus is fully halal. We only source our meat from halal-accredited butchers who are local to the Manchester area.
