Ingredients for Punjabi Lollipop Recipe

For this Punjabi Chicken Lollipop recipe, you will need the following ingredients to prepare a serving for 4 people.

  • 16 chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons mustard oil
  • 1 tablespoon ginger garlic paste
  • 3 tablespoons BBQ sauce
  • 2 teaspoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons pomegranate molasses

Method for Punjabi Lollipop Recipe

Now you have everything you need, it is time to get started with the recipe. It is incredibly easy to follow and will have you serving up spectacular Punjabi Chicken Lollipops in no time.

  1. Prepare the chicken wings. First you must separate the wing from the drum. Take a sharp knife and cut each wing in the half joint. Remove the foot wing and the smaller bone, leaving the larger bone in place. Carefully push the meat up the bone so that it is bunched up at one end. The drum part of the wing is fine as it is and ready to be marinated. set the lollipops aside.
  2. Mix together all the ingredients including Zouk Tandoori Masala and Zouk Garam Masala in a large mixing bowl.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and mix well. Ensure they are thoroughly coated. Set the lollipops aside and then chill for at least 15 to 30 minutes.
  4. Carefully skewer the chicken wings onto metal or bamboo skewers.
  5. Cook the lollipops over hot charcoal for 10 to 15 minutes until they are cooked through and the juices are running clear.
  6. Serve with chilli sauce or imlee sauce.
